How We Patch Drywall

The method depends on the size and type of damage:

Small holes (under 2cm): Lightweight spackle, smooth flush with a putty knife, sand with 220 grit once dry, prime and touch up.

Medium holes (2–15cm): Self-adhesive mesh patch or California Patch method. Two to three thin coats of joint compound, feathered wide, sanded between coats. Prime before paint.

Large holes and cutouts (over 15cm): New drywall panel screwed to backing or studs. Mesh tape over seams, multi-coat compound, sanded to paint-ready. May require two visits due to drying time.
